01.AI and Huawei Partner to Advance Ascend Native AI Models
On November 13, 01.AI announced a strategic partnership with Huawei to develop Ascend-native AI models jointly. This collaboration aims to build a robust ecosystem for large AI models, accelerating intelligent transformation and growth across diverse industries.
Under the partnership, 01.AI will leverage Huawei’s Ascend hardware, heterogeneous Compute Architecture for Neural Networks (CANN), the MindSpore AI framework, and the MindIE inference engine to create Ascend-native large model applications. These applications are tailored for sectors including finance, government, manufacturing, energy, transportation, and telecommunications. 01.AI plans to release Ascend-native AI Agents and industry-specific large model solutions to drive advancements in automation and intelligence across these fields.
Looking forward, 01.AI and Huawei will continue to co-develop a suite of native AI model applications, combining their strengths to drive industrial adoption and real-world implementation of innovative AI solutions. This partnership aims to fuel enterprise growth by facilitating digital transformation across various industries.
