XPeng is accelerating its intelligent EV strategy with refreshed P7+ and G7 models that debut next-generation VLA autonomous driving and major range, charging, and design upgrades.
On December 31, XPeng announced that the 2026 XPeng P7+ and the XPeng G7 Super Extended-Range Edition will both come standard with the second-generation VLA intelligent driving system, with market launch scheduled for Q1 2026.
The new VLA system is powered by XPeng’s in-house Turing AI chip, delivering an industry-leading 2,250 TOPS of effective computing power. It achieves 12× higher model inference efficiency than the previous generation and supports a parameter scale 10× larger than mainstream solutions, significantly improving decision-making speed and accuracy in complex driving scenarios.

The XPeng G7 Super Extended-Range Edition introduces a new “Dusk Purple” exterior color, along with a sleek one-piece full-width light bar and other design refinements. Inside, the vehicle features a front passenger zero-gravity seat and more than 20 premium comfort and luxury upgrades.
It is equipped with a 55.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 60-liter fuel tank, offering 430 km of pure electric range and a combined range of up to 1,704 km. Thanks to 800V architecture with 5C ultra-fast charging, the G7 can add 314 km of range in just 12 minutes. Dual active noise cancellation systems and extensive sound-insulating materials are also standard.
The 2026 XPeng P7+ adopts a sportier fastback design, highlighted by a Starwing full-width light strip and a floating “interstellar” roofline. Interior upgrades include an 8.8-inch “Tech Island” instrument cluster and a 29-inch full-scene head-up display, delivering a noticeably more refined and premium cabin experience.
