Rumors Say Huawei Mate 50 Series to Be Released in July
According to one Chinese digital blogger, the new Huawei Mate 50 series will be launched in July. The blogger went on to say that “besides the image, the brand-new system of the Mate 50 series is also worth looking forward to, and the new gameplay and new application seem rather appealing.”
The blogger also stated that Huawei will introduce a smartphone shell which can enable the smartphone to support both 4G and 5G networks. .
Previous tipster also showed that the Mate 50 series will have two models: Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro.
The Mate 50 may be configured with a 50MP Ultra Vision Camera (IMX766), 50MP Ultra Wide Cine Camera, 12MP Telephoto Camera, and a Laser Sensor. The battery could be 4400 mAh and support both the 66W supercharge and 40W wireless supercharge functions.
The Mate 50 Pro, however, may see a slight upgrade with a 50MP Ultra Vision Camera (IMX800), 50MP Ultra Wide Cine Camera, 50MP Black-and-White Fusion Camera, and a 64MP Telephoto Camera. It would contain a 4600mAh large-capacity battery and support both the 100W supercharge and 50W wireless supercharge functions to charge the device even faster.
Both models will have the same configuration: 6.76-inch NOE flexible curved screen, 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, X-axis linear motor, 3D face recognition and HarmonyOS 3.0 system.

In terms of chipsets, the devices are expected to be equipped with the 4G version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 exclusively for the first time, which is itself based on Samsung’s 4nm process and equipped with 1*3.0GHz Cortex X2 core, 3*2.5GHz Cortex A78 core and 4*1.79GHz Cortex A55 core.
