JD Auto Reaches Strategic Cooperation With Prinx
JD Auto, an online car selling platform operated by Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, on July 27 formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EV tire brand Prinx. In the future, the two sides will carry out extensive and in-depth cooperation in supply chains, service networks, and business innovation.
The core direction of this cooperation covers the joint innovation of energy vehicle tires, user expansion, commercial vehicle tire cooperation, online and offline innovative retail experiences and more.
Just before signing the contract, Prinx Tires’ self-operated flagship store was officially launched on JD.com. Prinx’s initial products include the Prinx XNEX SPORT EV, which is suitable for sport electric vehicles, while the XLAB COMFORT EV is more suitable for urban commuter vehicle purposes. Every Prinx tire comes with a one-year free replacement and a five-year long warranty.
As a one-stop sales and service platform covering the whole life cycle of vehicles and omni-channel layout, JD Auto has covered the whole vehicle sales, motorcycles, two-wheeled electric vehicles, auto accessories and services, providing a one-stop automobile consumption experience. JD Auto Service, JD Auto’s offline automobile initiative, which also known as JD Car Club, has opened more than 1,400 stores in more than 160 cities across China, and users can experience “online ordering, offline services” and all-round car maintenance services.

On July 28, JD Auto also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chery iCar ecology again. The two sides will focus on the three major areas of channels, automobile ecology and digital marketing, and continue to deepen the whole link closed loop of vehicle trading and the whole life cycle service of automobiles.
The Chery Wujie Pro, the first NEV in deep ecological cooperation between JD Auto and Chery iCar ecology, was officially unveiled on the same day, with an official pre-sale price of 79,900 yuan ($11,843.18) to 101,900 yuan ($15,104.13), which will be put on sale in August.
