Cleaning Robot Firm SunPure Technology Secures Pre-A Round Funds
SunPure Technology, a China-based developer of cleaning robots, announced on August 9 its completion of a pre-A round of financing worth tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by GL Ventures and followed by Kexun Lianshan Entrepreneur Fund.
Under the guidance of China’s official carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, the application scenarios of photovoltaic power stations are more diversified. In many highly irradiated areas around the world, sandstorms occur frequently. Dust not only reduces irradiation intensity, but also produces temperature effects, affecting the service life of components of power stations. Therefore, photovoltaic module cleaning has become an important factor in the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants.
Since its establishment in 2019, SunPure Technology has always paid attention to the problem of photovoltaic module cleaning. Relying on an advanced R&D and innovation system, it has developed a photovoltaic cleaning robot, which is widely used in various photovoltaic power stations located in deserts, mountains, water surfaces, and roofs.
The company’s product line covers dry-hanging, crawler-type and car ferries, which can be used in both centralized ground power stations and distributed roof power stations. In China, the Middle East, South America and other countries and regions, many large-scale photovoltaic power station investors have chosen SunPure Technology’s cleaning system, which has increased the annual power generation by 14%.
