Spy Photos of Li Auto’s M7, M8, and M9 Models Revealed

On Tuesday, spy photos of three pure electric SUV models from Li Auto were revealed. These models are reportedly likely to be named M7, M8, and M9, and are expected to hit the market in 2025. They are primarily targeted at the market segment above 300,000 yuan, meeting the needs of family users.

According to Li Auto‘s product plan, by 2025, the company will launch five range-extended models, one super flagship (MEGA), and five pure electric models. The Li Auto M8 is expected to be one of these pure electric SUVs, positioned as a six-seater medium to large SUV, and could possibly be Li Auto‘s first pure electric SUV.

At the previous Beijing Auto Show, Li Auto‘s founder, Li Xiang, stated that the Li Auto M8 could essentially be considered a touring version of the Model X, designed to better solve the problem of third-row seating space. He also pointed out that the new car is not an MPV style, and if the part after the C-pillar is removed, the front half of the car body is basically the same as the Model Y and Model X.

The Li Auto M7 and M9 are expected to be positioned as medium and large pure electric SUVs, respectively. From the spy photos, it can be seen that the three models basically continue the current MEGA’s design language at the rear, but there are differences in the rear contour and tail lights.
