Xpeng Aeroht Intelligent Manufacturing Base Officially Starts Construction

On October 27th, Xpeng Aeroht‘s flying car manufacturing base officially started construction. This is the world’s first flying car factory to use modern assembly lines for mass production, which will be used to produce the fuselage part of the modular flying car “Land Carrier”, with a planned annual capacity of 10,000 units.

On September 19, the first Type Certification Board (TCB) meeting of Xpeng Aeroht’s “Land Aircraft Carrier” flying body X3-F aircraft (X3-F is the internal code name) was held in Guangzhou, marking the comprehensive entry of X3-F into the airworthiness review stage.

The Land Aircraft Carrier is divided into two parts: the land-based body and the flying body. The flying body is an electric aircraft with a six-axis, six-propeller configuration. The main structure of the fuselage and propellers are made of carbon fiber material, balancing high strength and lightweight properties. The 270° panoramic cockpit provides users with a broad flight view. The flying body of the Land Aircraft Carrier supports both manual and automatic driving modes. Xpeng Aeroht pioneered a single-pole control system that allows even zero-experience users to easily master flight skills. In automatic driving mode, it can achieve one-key takeoff and landing, automatic route planning, automatic flight, as well as multi-dimensional intelligent airborne perception obstacle avoidance assistance and landing vision assistance.

The Land Aircraft Carrier is scheduled to start pre-sales by the end of this year.
