On November 6, at the Xpeng AI Day event, the company founder and CEO He Xiaopeng officially announced the company’s development goals for the next decade, aiming to become a global AI automotive company. This vision marks an upgrade in Xpeng‘s ambitions and strategy in the global smart vehicle sector.

He Xiaopeng stated at the event that over the past ten years, China’s technology industry has shifted from importing foreign advanced technologies to developing and innovating independently. As a witness and participant in this transformation, Xpeng is now spreading the seeds of technology worldwide and is committed to showcasing the strength and appeal of Chinese smart cars on the international stage.

After a decade of steady development, Xpeng has firmly established its brand image as a technology-driven and smart-driving vehicle company in the domestic market. The company has always adhered to its belief in technology, continuously exploring the application of AI in the smart car sector, driving product innovation, and enhancing user experiences. This strategic positioning has not only earned the recognition of domestic consumers but has also laid a solid foundation for Xpeng’s entry into the international market.

According to statistics, in the first three quarters of 2024, Xpeng achieved remarkable success in the European market, becoming the top-selling Chinese high-end electric vehicle brand. In particular, in Nordic countries like Denmark and Norway, Xpeng won widespread praise from local consumers for its excellent product performance and intelligent driving technology.

Xpeng has expanded to 30 countries and regions globally, establishing 145 overseas after-sales service points, and offering convenient and efficient after-sales service. Notably, Xpeng became the first Chinese new-energy brand to implement global synchronized OTA (Over-The-Air) updates, further enhancing user experience and showcasing its technological strength in its global expansion.

Looking ahead, He Xiaopeng revealed that Xpeng will continue to accelerate its global expansion, planning to extend its business to 60 countries and regions next year.
