World’s First Consumer AR Glasses ‘XREAL One’ with Native 3DoF Support Released

On December 5th, XREAL announced the launch of “the world’s first consumer-grade AR glasses that support native 3DoF – XREAL One.

XREAL One glasses include two products: XREAL One and XREAL One Pro, priced at $499 and $599 respectively.

XREAL One is priced at 3299 yuan in China, and pre-sales have started on JD.com and Tmall. It will be officially released on December 10th at 20:00.

From a specific configuration perspective, XREAL One and XREAL One Pro are equipped with the self-developed spatial computing chip X1, providing built-in three degrees of freedom tracking (3DoF) without the need for a Beam adapter.

XREAL One glasses are equipped with a Sony 0.68-inch Micro-OLED screen, with a resolution of 1080p, refresh rate up to 120Hz, latency as low as 3 milliseconds, supporting ΔE <3, field of view up to 50°, maximum screen size up to 147 inches, peak brightness of 600 nits, support for adjusting interpupillary distance, 32:9 ultra-wide screen mode and electrochromic dimming.

XREAL reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Dr. Glasses on November 29th. Dr. Glasses will become XREAL’s deep cooperation partner, carrying out product sales and brand promotion in 100 stores nationwide, while also providing glasses fitting services.

In addition, the XREAL One series is equipped with Bose audio and weighs 84 grams.

Compared to the XREAL One, the XREAL One Pro has an increased field of view (from 50° to 57°), a screen changed to Sony’s new generation 0.55-inch Micro-OLED screen, brightness increased from 600 nits to 700 nits, and upgraded to Optic Engine 4.0 optical engine.

Both glasses can be connected via USB-C data cable to devices such as iPhone, Android devices, Steam Deck, Windows PC, and MacBook for use as external virtual screens.
