BYD Will Hold A Smart In-Car Drone System Launch Event on March 2nd
Recently, some media received an invitation to the BYD intelligent in-car drone system launch event. The poster shows that BYD will join hands with DJI to hold the BYD intelligent in-car drone system launch event at 19:30 on March 2nd at the Shenzhen global headquarters.
BYD’s first model equipped with an auto-grade drone is the Eyer U8 Off-road Player Edition. Recently, BYD Denza N9, Formula Leopard Titanium 3, BYD Tang L, and BYD Sea Lion 07 DM-i have also applied for models equipped with car-mounted drones to meet personalized usage needs such as shooting and exploring in outdoor scenarios.
On the evening of January 16th, 2024, the BYD Dream Day was officially held. BYD collaborated with DJI to create the world’s first fully integrated car-mounted drone system, pioneering an integrated auto-grade drone hangar that supports intelligent storage, automatic battery swapping and charging management. It truly achieves one-button takeoff and landing along with industry-leading drone sensor chain technology to realize high-definition, high frame rate low-latency image transmission.
