Huawei Hongmeng Phones Expected To Sell Over 200 Million From October
TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released the advance estimates on Huawei mobile phone parts and shipments. The parts suppliers are resuming their partnerships with Huawei without breaching America’s export ban, according to Kuo.

Kuo said Huawei will likely start selling Hongmeng phones in October 2019. If America’s export control over Huawei remains the same, Huawei’s mobile phone shipments in 2019 will probably reach between 215 million and 225 million due to strong demand in Q4 of 2019.
The low-end market will be Huawei’s target, Kuo predicted, as the Hongmeng mobiles will not be able to meet the needs of premium overseas segments. The devices will mainly be released in Central Europe, Eastern Europe and emerging markets.
Huawei mobile phones’ performance might exceed market expectations. Stock prices of supply chain companies will not decrease that much and key suppliers of high-end models might see a stock price bounce.
Kuo has been called “the strongest Apple analyst on earth” as he has an accuracy rate of over 50 percent. He has extensive experience in market analysis, according to his profile page on TF International Securities.
