Vivo Watch 2 Preview, Equipped with AMOLED Screen and 501mAh Battery
On Tuesday, some netizens discovered something new in their Vivo Health App: the appearance of a second generation smartwatch. According to the image found on the app, Vivo’s Watch 2 will have a similar appearance to the first generation.
The Vivo Watch 2 has already been certified by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), along with an official image quite reminiscent of its rumored forebearer. The certification papers associated with the device suggest that the device supports on-board mobile data of up to 4G/LTE speeds, thanks to its eSIM and embedded universal integrated circuit card support.
It also asserts that the Vivo Watch 2 will have thin bezels for its AMOLED screen and will be powered by a 501mAh battery. One digital blogger added that the device will also support voice input.
The release date of Vivo Watch 2 is yet to be decided. Considering that the first generation of smartwatch was released in September of last year, it is expected that the new model will be released by the end of this year.
