Vivo Y76 Launches in Malaysia With MediaTek Dimensity 700 and 44W Fast Charging
In November 2021, Vivo launched its Vivo Y76s 5G smartphone in the Chinese market, whose main configuration includes a MediaTek 810 chipset, 50-megapixel dual-camera, and 44W fast charging. On Monday, the company launched the Vivo Y76 in Malaysia, which is equipped with a triple camera setup with 50 million pixels, while the processor is the comparatively inferior MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip.
The body of the Vivo Y76 has a size of 163.84 x 75 x 7.79 mm and a weight of 175 grams. It has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD water drop screen which has a 1080 x 2408 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a maximum brightness of 460 nits, and the screen ratio reaches 90.6%.
The Vivo Y76 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a triple camera set on the back, including a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1. 8 aperture, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The camera features include Super Night Mode, Dual-View Video, Ultra Stable Video, Face Beauty, Double Exposure, Full HD Video Recording, and Slow Motion Video Shooting.
The Vivo Y76 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 4GB of extended RAM, and 128G of storage, and provides a microSD card slot.

The phone is equipped with FunTouch OS 12, based on Android 11 and a 4100 mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging. Its other features include supporting dual phone cards, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, 3.5 mm audio jack, and side fingerprint scanning.
The Vivo Y76 has been launched in Malaysia at a price of 1,299 Malaysian ringgit ($309). It comes in two colors: Midnight Space Cosmic Aurora. It is not clear whether the device will be launched in other markets.
