WeRide Signs Strategic Cooperation and Investment Agreements with ONTIME and GAC Group

WeRide, an autonomous driving company, held a signing ceremony for its strategic cooperation and investment with GAC Group and ONTIME on Tuesday. The three parties will work together and jointly promote Robotaxi’s vehicle design and R&D, pre-loading mass production, and its commercial operation.

WeRide also announced its strategic investment in ONTIME, which is the world’s first investment from an autonomous driving startup to a travel platform, and an important layout for WeRide to actively participate in autonomous driving services and operations.

WeRide focuses on the intersection between car companies and travel platforms. The company has developed three products: Robotaxi, Mini Robobus and Robovan. WeRide also announced that it had obtained strategic investment from GAC Group.
