The new phone features with dual rear camera, a full-screen display and long-lasting battery capacity, priced at $124 as the lowest.
Meizu mblu 6T comes with a 5.70-inch 18:9 aspect ratio touchscreen display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC. For the first time, the smartphone has the fingerprint sensor on the back. Fueled by a 3300mAh capacity battery, the phone can also be plugged in 5V1.5A flash charge.
It has a dual camera with a 8 MP front-facing camera, along with a 13MP/2 MP dual rear camera on the back, supporting the bokeh function under portrait model.
There are three colors in option: Black, Gold and Red. The relatively low price of Meizu mblu 6T may catch the most attention this time with the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM version priced at 799 yuan($124), the 4GB RAM/32GB storage option is priced at 999 yuan($155) and the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM premium variant at 1099 yuan($171).
As the entry-level budget phone of Meizu, the Meizu mblu series has long set the “ Good Product for Young People” as its commercial promotion slogan, hoping to attract more young users through its bright colors and fashion design.
However, the specifications of the mblu series have always been its weak points. Except for its long history of repetitive use of MediaTek processors, Meizu receives more criticism this time as the MTK6750 processor installed in new devices has been used in previous five Meizu mblu smartphones since 2017.
Meizu once gained a lot of fans by its unique design and customized UI. However, after the personnel changes, the employees resignation PR crisis and some less impressive products, Meizu may have to face a tougher road ahead.
