Realme Launches 150W Flash-Charging Technology for GT Neo3 Smartphone Model
At this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC 2022) in Barcelona, Chinese smartphone brand Realme has launched a 150W flash-charging technology that can bring a 5,000mAh battery to 50% in just five minutes, which will be applied on its upcoming GT Neo3 model.
Realme has always been known for its breakthroughs in flash-charging technology. In February 2020, the Realme X50 Pro was equipped with 65W flash charging for the first time, and it can be fully charged in 35 minutes. In July 2020, Realme released 125W flash charging to support a 4000mAh battery, bringing it to 33% in just three minutes.
At MWC 2022, Realme also announced the world’s first 100W-200W smart device charging architecture – the “UltraDart Charging Architecture” (UDCA) – which integrates speed, safety and fast rechargeable battery technology.
UDCA makes use of “Multi Boost Charge Pumps” to increase charging speed. Realme says that the smartphone will remain at an ideal temperature while charging, thanks to the “Ultra Heat Management Algorithm” that aims to keep temperatures below 43 degrees.
