Affordable OPPO K1 With In-display Fingerprint Sensor Available for Pre-order
Oppo began taking pre-orders for its K1 smartphones on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Oppo K1 features an in-display fingerprint sensor and water drop screens and is priced at less than $300.
Compared with Oppo R17 series which also had the sensor, Oppo K1 has a lower budget. It came out in two versions on the official website: 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB, priced at 1599 yuan ($231) and 1799 yuan.

Starting from 10 a.m. on Oct. 19, buyers can get a 20 yuan discount if they place the order beforehand.
The K1 features a 6.4-inch Full HD and AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Aided by Adreno 512 graphics, the device is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform.
Its design is similar to that of the popular R17, with a wider bottom border. Back cameras look almost the same as the R15 cameras. In addition, an in-display fingerprint sensor saves space for fingerprint identification.
Gradient colors in blue and red are available at customer’s choice.
