AgiBot expects revenue to exceed RMB 1 billion (about US$140 million) this year, as its CEO predicts embodied AI will outscale smartphones and redefine industrial manufacturing.
On December 22, at the National Robotics Leasing Ecosystem Summit and the launch of the Qingtian Leasing Platform, Deng Taihua, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of AgiBot, said the company is on track to ship approximately 5,000 robots this year, with annual revenue expected to exceed RMB 1 billion (around US$140 million).
Deng added that starting next year, both robot shipments and revenue are projected to grow by multiple times annually. In his view, the embodied intelligence market could ultimately surpass the global smartphone market in unit volume. When multiplied by the per-unit value of industrial robots, embodied intelligence has the potential to become the largest single product category in the industrial equipment sector.
