AI Image Generation Platform LiblibAI Secures Multi-Billion Yuan Financing within a Year
Recently, LiblibAI, an AI image generation platform, announced that it has successfully completed three rounds of financing within the span of a year, raising several hundred million yuan in total. The initial round of funding was provided by Source Code Capital, Gaorong Capital, and Golden Sand River Venture Capital. The subsequent round was led by strategic investors, and the most recent round was spearheaded by MingShi Capital. Existing shareholders have consistently increased their investments throughout these rounds.
The funds raised will primarily be allocated towards three key areas: the development of a large-scale computing power platform to cater to the substantial computational needs for user inference and model training; the research and development of plugins, fine-tuning models, and control capabilities based on image models; and the support and operation of the developer ecosystem and creators of original models.
LiblibAI, a subsidiary of Beijing Singularity Star Technology Co., Ltd., was established in May 2023. As an AI-native application company, it is committed to the creation and sharing of AI content. Its mission is to revolutionize the creative processes of designers, artists, and self-media content creators, positioning itself as a new AI-powered force within the content creation industry.
In February 2024, LiblibAI achieved a significant regulatory milestone by complying with the fourth batch of deep synthetic service algorithm standards set by the National Internet Information Office. In March of the same year, it became the first AI community in China to comply with the national “Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services”.
In just one year, LiblibAI has amassed nearly 10 million professional AI image creators and over 100,000 original models, producing more than 230 million AI images. It has successfully built a comprehensive ecosystem that encompasses AI content creation, sharing, copyright, and sales.
