Pollo AI has raised $14M and surpassed 6M MAU while already turning profitable, positioning itself as a global AI-powered alternative to CapCut and Canva.
AI video-generation platform Pollo AI announced it has raised $14 million (approx. RMB 98.97 million) in its seed round. The round was led by Gaorong Capital, with participation from ZhenFund — marking the company’s first institutional financing since its launch in September 2024.
The new capital will be used to strengthen its model-aggregation platform, accelerate product upgrades, and expand into global markets as the company pushes toward large-scale commercialization of its one-stop creative suite.

Pollo AI has already integrated a wide set of advanced models, including Kling AI, Runway, Google Veo, Stable Diffusion, and others. The platform supports text-to-video, image-to-video, video style transfer, character consistency, AI animation, image generation and transformation — with up to 8K output and minute-long video generation. The company is also building a full workflow from content creation to enhanced editing.
Operationally, Pollo AI crossed 4 million MAU within seven months of launch. As of December 2025, the platform has over 20 million registered users, more than 6 million monthly active users, and annualized revenue exceeding $20 million (approx. RMB 140 million). It reached break-even in May 2025.
Founder Zhu Chenbiao, a Sun Yat-sen University graduate with extensive global product-growth experience, previously worked at Wondershare before founding Shenzhen Jiuling Technology in 2021. He has helped build more than twenty overseas apps across tools, content, and multimedia services — with Pollo AI now the company’s flagship product.
Zhu says the team will complete a major product rebuild within the next three to six months and further clarify the platform’s differentiation: “My goal is for Pollo AI to become the ‘AI version of CapCut,’ or the ‘video version of Canva.’”
