AutoNavi has reached a deal with Feishu, ByteDance’s Office Suite APP, also known as Lark, and will be integrated within Feishu to provide enterprise car service for the platform’s users.
AutoNavi, which started out as a digital mapping service provider – known as “Gaode” in Chinese – expanded its functions beyond mapping and navigation service years ago. AutoNavi’s cooperation with Feishu is meant to make commuters’ lives a lot easier. Thanks to its one-stop service management platform, enterprises that use Feishu can manage their employees’ travel plans digitally and enjoy discounts on business trips. Users who register with AutoNavi taxi through Feishu can get 600-yuan redemption every 1000-yuan charged till December 31.
Feishu has become popular in China during the pandemic as more people have been working remotely from home. Bloomberg describes the app as a combination of Slack, Skype, and Google Docs. Competing with Alibaba’s DingTalk and Tencent’s Wechat, Feishu’s parent company ByteDance has faced scrutiny in the United States for its relationship with TikTok. With American leaders calling the app a cyber threat, ByteDance is trying to expand its international market with cautiousness.
