Amazon China Announces A Revision

Amazon China announces a revision: starting from December 28th, new Prime membership registration will no longer be available, and desktop services will be discontinued on January 27th, 2024.

On December 28th, Amazon China released the 'Prime Membership Notice' and 'Overseas Purchase Revision Notice', announcing adjustments to Prime membership and overseas purchase services. In summary, there are three noteworthy changes in this revision:

Starting from January 27, 2024, a new version of the 'Amazon Shopping' app will be launched, and shopping services will no longer be available on the computer platform.

Starting from December 28, 2023, new Prime membership registrations will no longer be accepted. Starting from January 27, 2024, Prime membership services will no longer be provided. Before February 3, 2024, any remaining months of your membership within the current billing cycle will be automatically refunded. Existing free trial members and paid members can still enjoy their membership benefits.

The Amazon gift card service will officially close on January 30, 2024. According to regulations regarding single-purpose prepaid cards management, users with gift card balances are advised to withdraw their balance before the termination date.
