Apple Vision Pro’s Origin Revealed: Authentic Chinese Manufacturing

On February 4th, the Vision Pro headset, regarded by Apple as the next generation ‘spatial computing device,’ has officially gone on sale in the United States with a starting price of $3,499.

Despite the high price, it still can’t stop Apple fans from buying enthusiastically. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that Apple has sold 180,000 units of Vision Pro.

Some Chinese bloggers have already got their hands on the Vision Pro and unboxed it. From the exposed packaging, it can be seen that Vision Pro is an authentic Chinese-made product. Similar to iPhone and other products, Apple is only responsible for design while assembly and production are done in China.

As early as January 19th, when pre-sales began, there were Redbook users who shared pictures claiming that their purchased Vision Pro had already been shipped from Shanghai, China.

There are reports that Luxshare is a partner in the assembly of Vision Pro, and the first batch of Vision Pro is manufactured by Luxshare in Kunshan.
