ASUS Brings the ZenFone Max Pro Budget Phone to Taiwan
ASUS is going to launch its new smartphone, the ZenFone Max Pro (M1), on July 24 in Taiwan according to a Taiwanese media report.

The new device will run on the octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC and operate using the Android 8.1 Oreo system. It spots a 6-inch HD+ screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 and a long-lasting 5000 mAh battery to deliver the slogan of “Limitless Gaming”. The smartphone is available in two storage options of 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 6GB RAM/64GB ROM, but only the 6GB/64GB version is confirmed to support the near-field communication (NFC) function. The ZenFone Max Pro is also equipped with 13MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a 8MP front camera.
The ZenFone Max Pro had already launched in India in April of this year. According to business insiders, the new phone will be available for purchase on July 27 in Taiwan at a price of 1500 yuan ($224) for the 3GB/32GB version, and 1960 yuan ($292) for the 6GB/64GB version. It is to be confirmed whether both versions will be put on sale at the same time.
