The phone also features a large 6.59-inch display, a mind-blowing 6,000mAh battery for a longer battery life and more immersive gaming experience. It runs on Android 9 offering a choice between stock Android or the company’s own custom ROG UI, unlike its first generation smartphone which had a thick ROG theme over the stock Android system. The basic and cheapest configuration of ROG Phone 2 begins at roughly $500, and the most advanced configuration along with a full set of ROG peripherals and accessories like a cooler and a gamepad is retailing at almost $1900.
