ATRenew Becomes a Partner of Apple’s ‘Trade-in’ Service
On June 30th, according to the information displayed on Apple’s official website, consumers who choose the ‘Trade In’ service might have their devices recycled by ATRenew (NYSE: RERE), a Chinese consumer electronics transactions and services platform.
Apple’s ‘trade-in’ service in Chinese mainland began in 2015. As part of this service, the recycling work for traded-in devices has always been carried out by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Foxconn called ‘iFengPai’. ATRenew has now become a new partner for Apple’s ‘trade-in’ service in Chinese mainland market, making it the first additional trade-in service provider since the launch of this program over eight years ago. This also signifies that ATRenew’s professional capabilities and level of service have gained recognition from Apple.
Founded in 2011, ATRenew is China’s largest second-hand consumer electronics transactions and services provider in China. After 12 years of development, its open platform integrates C2B, B2B, and B2C capabilities to empower its online and offline services.
