An avid user of social media, she actively engages in the discussions of feminism in China on Weibo. She is also an experienced Chinese debater who had won multiple awards. When she is not working, she is likely watching TV shows (and reviewing them), developing new dishes, or searching for a new restaurant in Beijing city with her friends.

If there is one thing The Farewell and its director Lulu Wang did wrong, it was being too brutally honest, about the in-between-ness of Chinese-American immigrants, the differences between Eastern and Western culture, and the feelings that come as a loved one passes away.
