Ella Cao is a 2019 graduate of the University of Connecticut with majors in journalism and communications. She worked as a campus correspondent on the Daily Campus, covering campus-related stories and administrative decisions as well as taking cover photos and interview clips. From January 2020 til July, she worked as an editorial intern at Thomson Reuters, Beijing branch, helping monitor mainland news development, conduct in-depth research and assist in story conceptualization and planning.
