Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Baidu's autonomous ride-hailing service Apollo Go has upgraded its partnership with AutoGo, the UAE's leading autonomous mobility provider, securing the first fully unmanned commercial operation licenses from Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) and signing a new-phase agreement.
Under the agreement, the partners aim to expand the autonomous fleet in Abu Dhabi to hundreds of vehicles by 2026, creating the region's largest fully unmanned ride-hailing fleet. The fleet is now legally qualified for public unmanned services, with operations ready to launch commercially, signaling the sprint to large-scale unmanned mobility in Abu Dhabi.
The upgrade involved K2 Strategy VP Walid Al-Busha and Baidu Apollo's Europe, Middle East, and Africa GM Zhang Liang in the signing. Leveraging complementary tech and local expertise, they will drive scaled unmanned services in the emirate.
