Baidu’s Radish Run partners with Uber to launch unmanned ride-hailing services in London in 2026, marking its first right-hand-drive market expansion beyond Hong Kong.

December 23, 2025 – Baidu’s autonomous ride-hailing platform Radish Run announced yesterday that it will partner with a leading global mobility platform to launch unmanned driving tests and services in London, UK, in 2026. This marks its first expansion into a right-hand-drive market outside Hong Kong.

Previously, Radish Run received Hong Kong’s first autonomous vehicle pilot license in late November 2024, expanding test areas four times over the past year and completing key validations like multi-vehicle operations and passenger testing.

Uber has confirmed the partnership, while Lyft CEO David Risher stated plans to test an initial dozens of RT6 vehicles in London next year, scaling to hundreds, pending regulatory approval.
