Bored Ape Yacht Club Partners With Rolling Stone for Two 1/1 NFTs

Bored Ape Yacht Club, a leading NFT collection built on the Ethereum blockchain, on Tuesday announced that it had teamed up again with Rolling Stone for two 1/1 NFTs (one BAYC and one MAYC), which will become available for public auction on June 22 at 13:00 UTC.

The auction will last for four hours and will only accept ApeCoin payments with an initial price equivalent to $100.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is a collection of 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs – unique digital collectibles living on the Ethereum blockchain. Each Bored Ape is unique and programmatically generated from over 170 possible traits, including expressions, headwear, clothing, and more. Some of the NFTs are rarer than others. Owners of a Bored Ape NFT are granted access to a private online club, exclusive in-person events, and intellectual property rights to the image.

Previously, Rolling Stone launched a digital magazine cover NFT alongside BAYC in November 2021. The publication featured 20 pages of never-before-seen BAYC artwork and unique designs from an array of collaborators including Claire Salvo and TimpersHD. It also included early sketches of the ‘swamp club’, insights into the original apes created as part of the BAYC collection, and how the creative minds behind BAYC brought their ideas to life in the form of NFTs.
