The competition also highlighted BCI’s expansion into complex scenarios. Tsinghua University’s team demonstrated a brain-controlled drone navigating obstacles, captivating audiences and hinting at applications in drones and medical assistance. “BCI is a cornerstone of AI and the future of human-robot collaboration,” said Tsinghua’s Professor Gao Xiaorong.
