BYD Launches New FORMULA LEOPARD TITANIUM 3 Ultra RWD Variant, Adds Two New Colors

BYD has announced the launch of the new “501 km RWD Ultra” trim for its FORMULA LEOPARD TITANIUM 3, priced from RMB 149,800 (USD 21,000). Alongside the new model, the lineup now offers two additional paint options—“Twilight Pink” (limited-time free option) and “Ice Crystal Blue.”

Compared with the existing RWD Max version, the new Ultra trim comes equipped with upgraded features including the YunNian-C Intelligent Damping System, YunNian foresight system, a 14-speaker Devialet premium audio setup, an intelligent refrigerator with cooling and heating functions, electric unlocking and opening for the front trunk, an in-car microphone, and a detachable in-car flashlight. With the addition of the new colors, the Titan 3 lineup now offers six exterior paint choices in total.

First introduced in mid-April, the TITANIUM 3 inherits much of its design language from the SUPER 3 concept, featuring a rugged look, parallel-arranged daytime running lights, and a 151L powered front trunk integrated with the grille and hood.

Other highlights include flush door handles, a side-opening tailgate, and a 28L externally mounted storage box. The standard model measures 4605 x 1900 x 1720 mm, while the special “Lingyuan Smart Drone Edition” is taller at 1930 mm; both share a 2745 mm wheelbase.

In August, FORMULA LEOPARD unveiled two new interchangeable front fascia options: the “Star Wars Urban” and “Star Wars Trendy Play” designs. Developed with a high level of standardization and modularity, these fascias can be swapped without damaging the car’s structure—a departure from typical aftermarket modifications that require cutting into the body. Integrated headlight assemblies and more than 20 standardized mounting clips ensure the front-end framework is fully interchangeable, enabling seamless customization.
