BYD Han DM-i Champion Edition and DM-p God of War Edition Are Now on the Market
On May 18th, it was announced that the BYD Han DM-i Champion Edition and Han DM-p God of War Edition will officially go on sale today. The former is priced between RMB 189,800 to RMB 249,800 (about USD 27,000 to 36,000), while the latter is priced at RMB 289,800 (USD 42,000).
The new cars have different levels of upgrades. For example, the Han DM-i Champion Edition has added a pure electric version with a range of 200km, and the Han DM-p God of War Edition is equipped with DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system.
The Han DM-i Champion Edition has added a new Glacier Blue color option. The new car comes standard with the FSD variable damping suspension system, and some models can be equipped with the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system (hardware is already installed, OTA upgrade will be available later this year).
In terms of size, the Han DM-i Champion Edition measures 4975/1910/1495 millimeters in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920 millimeters.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a wide-temperature range high-efficiency heat pump air conditioning system, NFC mobile phone car key, BSD blind spot monitoring system, W-HUD head-up display, etc.
In terms of powertrain, the new car uses a plug-in hybrid system composed of blade batteries and a 1.5Ti engine. In addition to retaining the pure electric version with a range of 121km, there is also a new pure electric version with a range of 200km and a hybrid mode range of 1260km. The electricity consumption per hundred kilometers is 4.5L and it also supports external discharge up to 6KW.

The appearance of the Han DM-p God of War Edition uses BASF’s third-generation black paint, and is added with special black aluminum powder and a moderate amount of glass flakes.
The black color has a delicate shimmer. The new car is also equipped with the War God Edition sports appearance package, including carbon black wheels, matte black logo, black metal triangular windows and borders, as well as golden armor yellow high-performance four-piston calipers.
On the interior, the new car is covered with high-end black suede seats, door panels, passenger-side panels, center console armrests and more. It is also decorated with black carbon fiber material and yellow stitching as well as gold-yellow safety belts.
