Changan Auto Launches L07/S07 Models in Bangkok, Southeast Asia Debut Set for Nov 29
On November 27,Chinese automobile manufacturer Changan held its Southeast Asia press conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
Changan Automobile has officially established a Southeast Asia Division. At the same time, it sets up three local companies and localized operation teams: Changan Automobile Southeast Asia, Changan Thailand Sales, and Changan Thailand Parts. The construction of a new-energy vehicle production base in Thailand has also begun.
At a press conference, Changan Automobile detailed its expansion plans into Southeast Asia. The company aims to drive overseas growth through localized operations and a strategy of “trade + base”. It will introduce three major intelligent product brands: DEEPAL, AVATR, and NEVO. Changan will collaborate with top distribution partners in Thailand to enhance marketing capabilities. The company also plans to launch the Thai version of the “Number One Project” to improve services for users in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Additionally, it intends to boost Thailand’s industrial development and reinforce ESG construction.
Changan Automobile Chairman Zhu Huarong shared the planned path of globalization in his keynote speech: “Thailand’s automotive industry chain is well-established and is transitioning towards electrification, which aligns perfectly with Changan Automobile’s new energy strategic development direction.”
At the press conference, Changan Automobile also launched two vehicles, DEEPAL L07 and DEEPAL S07, which are now available for pre-order and will be officially launched at the Thailand Auto Show on November 29th. In addition, Avita showcased its flagship models Avita 11 and Avita 12 for the first time in Thailand at the press conference.
