Chase Xu: Realme GT Neo Series Breaks 2M Users
Chinese smartphone firm realme launched the brand-new GT Neo series in March of last year. This morning, Chase Xu, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at realme, posted on domestic social media platform Weibo that “in the past year, the cumulative users of the realme GT Neo series have exceeded 2 million. The series will continue releasing new models in the future.”
In addition, Chase Xu announced that the company’s GT Neo series will undergo a major upgrade, “becoming a more extreme and trendy flagship featuring designer elements and e-sports.”
Talking about the reasons for upgrading the positioning of the realme GT Neo series, Chase Xu pointed out that e-sports has become a trendy lifestyle among young people. Nearly half of realme users are e-sports lovers, which is much higher than the industry average. Xu said that realme has found a new field that can allow its GT Neo series to achieve rapid development and surprise its users, “that is, to create a more extreme e-sports experience for young people.”
