In June, Nio delivered 8,083 vehicles, including 1,498 ES8s, 3,755 ES6s, and 2,830 EC6s, a new monthly record representing a robust 116.1% year-over-year growth.
NIO delivered 21,896 vehicles in the three months ended June 2021, a new quarterly record representing an increase of 111.9% year-over-year.
In June, Xpeng delivered 6,565 vehicles, including 1,835 G3s, its smart compact SUV and 4,730 P7s, the company’s smart sports sedan, representing a 617% increase year-over-year. The company also achieved a quarterly record of 17,398 deliveries in the second quarter of this year, with a 439% increase year-over-year.
It’s worth of noticing that the delivery of P7s in June is the highest monthly amount of deliveries since the P7’s launch, reflecting the P7’s rising popularity among Chinese consumers.
The company plans to launch the G3i SUV, the new mid-phase facelift version of G3, in July, with deliveries planned for September of this year.
