Delivery Total of Geely’s Zeekr 001 EV Reaches 20,000

At the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show, Geely’s pure electric intelligent vehicle brand Zeekr announced on Saturday that its 20,000th Zeekr 001 model has officially been delivered.

It took only 107 days for this milestone to be achieved. Given the sharp decline of the overall auto market in April, the news is quite impressive. Since the beginning of 2022, uncertainty regarding the ongoing pandemic situation and supply chains have continuously affected the automobile industry.

Zeekr released its first mass-produced EV, the Zeekr 001, on April 15, 2021. The Zeekr 001 is powered by a twin-motor, the highest speed of which reaches 200km/h. Its battery delivers a 712km range according to NEDC conditions.

According to sales data, 2,137 Zeekr 001 units were delivered in April 2022, an increase of 19% from the previous month. As of April, a total of 16,385 Zeekr 001 units had been delivered. In the next three years, Zeekr will launch six brand-new models. In 2025, the annual sales target of Zeekr will reach 650,000 vehicles.

The 100th Zeekr store, located in Chengdu, was officially put into operation on May 28. As of May 19, Zeekr had opened two Zeekr Centers, 81 Zeekr Spaces and 17 Zeekr Delivery Centers in major cities across China. This year, the construction of its physical stores will continue to accelerate as the firm hopes to reach 300 stores across China by the end of 2022.

At present, Zeekr’s home charging service covers 292 cities in 31 provinces across China, and its 10,000th home charging pile has been delivered this month, taking only 229 days from its first installation.
