Details on Hozon’s EV Sedan NETA S Leaked, Pre-Sale to Begin in June
Chinese automotive industry blogger with Weibo username “@Xuejie Hen Nice-” broke news on Wednesday regarding the body size of Hozon Auto’s new EV sedan, the NETA S. The model features a length, width and height of 4980 x 1980 x 1450 mm, respectively, and a wheelbase of 2980 mm. The NETA S is reportedly to begin pre-sales in June.
According to the firm’s official website, the NETA S is built on a brand-new “Shanhai” platform. The car will provide two power options: the extended range version and the pure electric version. The extended range version has a cruising range of 1,100 km (NEDC), while the pure electric version has a cruising range of 710 km (NEDC). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
In terms of intelligent driving, the NETA S will be equipped with TA PILOT 4.0 intelligent driving system developed by Hozon Auto, which can realize intelligent assisted driving in all scenarios, and point-to-point traffic covering highways and urban open roads. The Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) E/E architecture based on Gigabit Ethernet is equipped with the Huawei MDC computing platform, whose AI computing power reaches 200 TOPS.

The car is equipped with two solid-state lidars, 11 auxiliary driving cameras (including two forward 8M cameras, four scanning cameras and five peripheral cameras), five millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, high-precision positioning units and HD mapping. It can realize pilot assisted driving on highways and urban roads, and supports auto parking and remote summoning functions.
Through an exclusive, customized, intelligent, fast-charging station pile, the high-voltage ultra-fast charging of NETA S can reach the highest fast charging power of 240kW, realizing 80% power replenishment in 20 minutes and a 150 km cruising range with just five minutes of charging.
