DingTalk and Xiaoice launch Hi1, an AI-powered "digital employee" hardware for front desks. It automates reception tasks like greetings, check-ins, and inquiries, aiming to standardize and digitize enterprise services.
Alibaba’s DingTalk has partnered with Xiaoice to release Hi1, its first AI-powered digital employee hardware product, positioned as an intelligent front-desk solution for enterprises.
Hi1 is designed to automate corporate reception workflows, offering four core capabilities: intelligent reception, flexible configuration, data intelligence, and multi-form-factor deployment. The device can independently handle visitor greetings, facial recognition check-ins, inquiry handling, and traffic routing for visitors, couriers, and food deliveries. It also supports customizable workflows, knowledge bases, and multilingual interactions.
On the hardware side, Hi1 is powered by an octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and is available in both standing and desktop versions for use in lobbies, reception areas, and meeting rooms. DingTalk says the product aims to drive reception automation, service standardization, and data-driven operations across enterprises.
