DingTalk Real brings on-premise, agent-driven AI to enterprises—with a built-in emergency power-off feature designed to keep advanced workplace automation under human control.

December 23 — At the AI DingTalk 1.1 Product Launch and Ecosystem Conference, Alibaba’s enterprise collaboration platform DingTalk unveiled DingTalk Real, a new piece of enterprise-grade AI hardware designed for secure, agent-driven workplace automation.

According to Chen Hang, Founder and CEO of DingTalk, DingTalk Real functions as an AgentOS execution terminal, built around three core concepts: Real Entity, Real Data, and Real Time. The device supports on-premise deploymentwithin corporate intranets and can securely access internal enterprise data, public datasets, and both internal and external networks. It comes preloaded with a suite of DingTalk workplace AI agents aimed at enhancing productivity across business operations.

Addressing concerns around AI controllability, Chen emphasized that DingTalk Real includes a fail-safe emergency shutdown mechanism—in the event of abnormal or uncontrollable behavior, the system can be immediately powered off by physically disconnecting the device.

During the same event, DingTalk also announced several complementary releases, including EnterpriseAgentOS, a centralized enterprise agent management system dubbed “Wukong,” and a range of AI-powered applications spanning recruitment, design, and corporate travel.
