DJI Avata 2 Racing Drone Expected to Be Released in April
Previously, the DJI Avata 2 racing drone and DJI Goggles 3 flight glasses spy photos were leaked. Now, the SBDJI website has revealed a scanned document of the Avata 2 drone’s registration sticker, suggesting that the drone could be launched as early as April.
Compared to the first-generation Avata drone, this “second-generation version” reportedly has larger propeller sizes and more powerful engines. However, it is still unknown whether the Avata 2 model has improved battery life. The current first-generation DJI Avata drone has a standard hover endurance of 18 minutes.
In addition to the main body of the Avata 2 drone, the website also unveiled the registration stickers for the accompanying “FPV Remote Controller 3 (DJI FPV Controller 3) and RC Motion 3 (Racing Joystick 3).” It is shown that all controllers in the series are equipped with a 2600mAh battery.
