November 29, 2025 – DJI’s upcoming Osmo Pocket 4 gimbal camera has appeared in U.S. FCC filings, revealing key hardware improvements.
The new model carries a rated battery capacity of 1,545 mAh (7.7 V), an 18% increase over the Pocket 3’s 1,300 mAh. Following industry practice, the typical capacity is likely to be marketed above 1,600 mAh, translating to a real-world endurance gain of over 20%.
The filing also confirms continued support for low-energy Bluetooth (BLE), though the exact version remains unlisted (Pocket 3 used Bluetooth 5.2).
Supply-chain sources add that Pocket 4 will bring significant upgrades across the board:
- Larger sensor expected to exceed 1-inch
- Video up to 6K/60fps with variable aperture
- Four-mic array and wireless microphone synchronization
- Runtime extended beyond 200 minutes
