DJI Refutes “Investor Event” Rumors: Avata 360 Was an Internal Product Demo Only

DJI firmly denies rumors of an investor event, confirming the Avata 360 showcase was an internal demo only and reserves the right to take legal action over false reports.
DJI has clarified that in mid-November it held an internal product experience session centered on the unreleased panoramic drone Avata 360. The event was strictly for internal participants and not an investor meeting as claimed by some media.
The company strongly denied recent reports citing third-party sources alleging that DJI “hosted an investor event for the upcoming panoramic drone” and quoted statements such as:
- “Only one consumer drone company worldwide is profitable”
- “DJI doesn’t need to partner with anyone to make this big”
- “After launch, Avata 360 will go head-to-head in pricing with Insta360’s Antigravity drone”
DJI stated that these claims seriously deviate from the facts and that the company reserves the right to pursue legal accountability.
