ENCOS has secured nearly $28 million in fresh funding, reinforcing its lead in core components for embodied intelligence and accelerating the industrialization of humanoid robotics.

December 14, 2025 — Nanjing-based ENCOS Intelligent Technology announced the completion of a new financing round totaling nearly $28 million, marking its third raise this year.

The round was co-led by Huakong Fund and Shenzhen Capital Group, with Plum Capital participating. Existing shareholders Oasis Capital and Jinqiu Capital also doubled down, while Minglun Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor.

Founded in 2022, ENCOS is a key upstream player in the embodied intelligence supply chain. The company independently develops critical components such as actuators and reducers, and has built a standardized joint product portfolio. This year, shipments of its joint modules surpassed 100,000 units, making ENCOS the first company in the sector to reach this milestone. The company is now advancing toward million-unit production capacity.

ENCOS’s core strength lies in its “scenario-defined product” R&D approach. It began developing hollow-shaft joints in 2023 and achieved mass production in 2025. A new product featuring an ultra-large 14 mm hollow bore is set to launch soon. The company also supports customers at different stages of development—helping R&D-stage clients shorten prototype iteration cycles, while ensuring reliable, large-scale delivery for mass-production customers.

Beyond joint modules, ENCOS is expanding into dexterous hands and smart battery systems. Its proprietary dexterous hand solution is approaching mass production. With these efforts, ENCOS aims to position itself as a “hardware innovation infrastructure service provider” for the robotics industry.

Investors including Huakong Fund and Shenzhen Capital Group expressed strong confidence in ENCOS’s technical capabilities and market position, noting that the company is well placed to drive the next phase of growth in humanoid robotics.
