Faraday Future Teases New EV Flagship V9

“Thanks for your attention to our brand new flagship V9. The basic design principle would be a mobile smart product that combines design, artificial intelligence and seamless interconnectivity between vehicles and people.” Faraday Future CEO Jia Yueting posted on Weibo this morning.

Based on leaked photos, the new EV model resembles the FF91 in terms of appearance, though it might be an SUV or MPV. And according to The9 Limited, Faraday Future’s business partner, the joint venture is expected to achieve an annual capacity of 300,000 as well as proceeding with offline sales and pre-orders by 2020.

Insiders from Faraday Future say that the company has already received the first amount of funds from The9.

On Mar. 25, news came out that Faraday Future had struck deals with mobile gaming company The9 Limited to manufacture its new flagship electric vehicle V9.

Faraday Future posted on Twitter, saying they had officially signed a joint venture agreement with The9 Limited (Nasdaq: NCTY). The9 will constitute 50 percent of the joint venture making up to US $600 million in total capital contributions.
