Founder of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma Returns to China
On March 27th, Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group, has returned to China, at least according to a video posted in which the business icon along the Wenyi Road Tunnel, Hangzhou. In the video, Jack Ma was riding in a Toyota Kauste and occasionally talking with people around him.
In this regard, STAR Market Daily confirmed from relevant people that, the people in the car were Jack Ma, Daniel Zhang, Chairman and CEO of Alibaba Group Holding Limited, and Shao Xiaofeng, Senior Vice President of Alibaba Group.
In fact, the same day Jack Ma had visited Yungu School in Hangzhou today to discuss education and ChatGPT technology. He spoke about the new technology: “ChatGPT technology has brought challenges to education, but ChatGPT technology is only the beginning of the AI era. We must use artificial intelligence to solve problems, instead of being controlled by artificial intelligence. Although people’s physical strength and brain power are not comparable to machines, machines only have “core” while people have “heart”.”
He continued, “The industrial age is knowledge-driven and knowledge competition. The digital age is driven by wisdom, the competition of creativity and imagination, the competition of leadership, responsibility, and independent thinking.”

At the end of 2022, British newspaper Financial Times had reported that Jack Ma appeared in the bustling business district of Tokyo and only had low-key activities in a few membership clubs. In January 2023, Mr. Ma met with Xie Guomin, Chairman of Chia Tai Group before he later appeared in February on social media with the Morley family whom he has known for over forty years. In March, Ma appeared again, and the CEO of the local tourism bureau extended a warm welcome to him.
