The 43rd Golden Joystick Awards will be held in London on November 20, 2025, with the full list of nominees officially announced on October 3.

Among this year’s “Most Wanted Game” contenders are Black Myth: Zhong Kui, Marvel’s Wolverine, Subnautica 2, Resident Evil: Requiem, The Witcher 4 and more. Public voting is now open.

As one of the world’s longest-running and most influential gaming awards decided entirely by public vote, the Golden Joystick Awards will once again honor more than 20 categories, recognizing the year’s best games, performances, and technical achievements.

On August 20, Game Science founder Feng Ji announced that the studio would shift its focus to a new project — Black Myth: Zhong Kui. According to Feng, the upcoming title will introduce brand-new hero characters, gameplay systems, visual effects, and technologies, alongside a compelling new narrative.

At the same time, Feng reassured fans that the story of Black Myth: Wukong “will not be forgotten.” Once the team is fully prepared, they plan to present it to players in a more complete and refined form.

Last year, Black Myth: Wukong earned both Ultimate Game of the Year and Best Visual Design at the Golden Joystick Awards.
