Geely-Backed Zeekr Unveils Electric MPV Zeekr 009
Geely-backed high-end intelligent electric vehicle brand Zeekr announced on July 22 that its new MPV model has been named the Zeekr 009, also releasing preview images of the car. This is another new model based on the sustainable experience architecture (SEA) platform.
Judging from the preview images, the new model is angular, taking into account the needs of internal space. The front of the car is likely to be equipped with a large air intake grille, and the headlights will still adopt a split style.
On July 21, automobile media outlet Xcar revealed undercover photos of the Zeekr 009, which might be the main reason for today’s sudden official announcement. The exposed photos have only the tail of the model, but there is no disguise. The tail of the new model uses a more of a square design, and the roof tends to be flat, which is more conducive to enlarging the leading space of the vehicle.
At the same time, the rear of the car uses through-type taillights and two vertical taillights on both sides with the Zeekr logo in the center, making the model highly recognizable. As can be seen from the side, the new car also has one-piece door handles.
