Genspark accelerates its push toward an "AI-native workspace system" with a $275M Series B round at a $1.25B valuation.
Genspark today announced the closing of a $275 million Series B round, bringing its valuation to $1.25 billion. The round was led by Emergence Capital, with participation from SBI Investment, LG Technology Ventures, Pavilion Capital under Temasek, and UpHonest Capital.
This marks Genspark's second major financing in recent months. The company previously raised funding at a $1 billion valuation, reportedly led by Sequoia China with additional participation from Tencent, though domestic investors were not mentioned in today's announcement—reflecting sensitivities around geopolitical factors.
Genspark revealed that its ARR surpassed $50 million in late September, with revenue growing 20% month-over-month over the past three months.
Alongside the financing, the company introduced a suite of new products, including Genspark AI Workspace, AI Inbox, Genspark Teams, AI Sheets 2.0, and an enhanced enterprise offering. CEO Eric Jing said current AI chatbots still leave users stuck in workflows requiring manual prompting, tool switching, and result cleanup. Genspark's new AI Workspace aims to consolidate collection, processing, and output of information into a single environment.
The platform integrates signals across digital and physical channels—search, emails, messages, meeting transcripts, and call logs—and processes them through a multi-agent system coordinating over 30 AI models. Users receive final outputs directly, such as AI-generated presentations, spreadsheets, or documents, eliminating copy-paste–heavy workflows.
The new AI Inbox can automatically route emails to Genspark's agents to compare vendor quotes, generate slides, draft negotiation messages, or assemble daily dashboards, turning the inbox into an "AI command center."
On the enterprise side, the company highlighted upcoming focuses on compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Meanwhile, three AI products the company tracks closely continue to grow rapidly. One AI ad-generation tool has scaled from $5M to $10M ARR within months with a team of five. Two additional Chinese-founded AI products—each with teams of under 20 people—have surpassed $30M ARR in their respective verticals.
